JAL the Grille is open.

I'll be heading out shortly for my own review, but here is a little comment I just received from a pleased patron.

"Just wanted to let you guys know that Jal The Grille is finally open and the food is awesome. I haven't tried their Steaks but the kebabs are to die for ! Food is really good you must check it out."

We didn't get a table. We were a party of 10 and called in earlier. Were informed that we don't take any phone reservations

@Tasneem - Going there tonight we have a party booked! I will try the Steak this time round. I had their Carnivore Platter it was awesome! The hype is based around the fact that they offer authentic Halal Steak. That's what's generated all the excitement but there's more to Jal than Steak. I personally don't think it's expensive, the prices are on par with most upscale restaurants in Sugar Land offering similar food. They've only been open two weeks so if there are any minor issues I'm sure they will sort it out in time. Overall a great restaurant with delicious food. My Thumbs Up for Jal!

The ribeye steaks were awesome. The ribs were also fantastic. We went on Sunday at 5pm, which was a perfect time since there was no rush. The Mocktails were really good as well. The owner was really nice. He mentioned how overwhelmed he was during the opening, and he knew that he had made a mistake opening on Fathers Day weekend. I will be going back again guaranteed. Sides for the steak, go for the masala fries, yummy.

Not sure what to think, just got a bit of a negative review you can read it here. I hope it's just growing pains and they can sort it all out.
