I wonder why some restaurants/businesses choose to ignore reviews. In my opinion, there are only a few options when a restaurant receives a negative review. On second thought, even a positive review requires a reaction. You should be on the lookout on the web and social media sites for reviews, positive or negative to your restaurant or business. Do nothing and you will for sure suffer the consequences.

The best thing to do is, respond. Respond with sincerity, appreciate the customers review and let them know you intend to improve, fix the situation, or thank them for the glowing review. Your gesture in replying to the review shows that customer satisfaction is important to your company.

Your response to a negative review will assure your customers now and in the future that you are willing to do whatever it takes to fix the situation and assure the next customer of a positive experience.
